Resource stash: intellectual property, social media and privacy, cyberbullying

Be-Deadly-Online-image-1024x721🔎 Be Deadly Online has published short clips and resources to teach students about social media and privacy, cyberbullying and managing their digital footprints. These can be used in coordination with the 9 Ps (passwords, privacy, personal information, photographs, property, permission, protection, professionalism and personal brand). As some of the materials contain minor coarse language, review the clips before you show them in class or assign them as homework. The clips and resources align well with the F-10 curriculum digital literacy aims and can be accessed here.

🔎 The eSaftey Commission has a depository of resources for teachers to use with students to address cyberbullying.  The resources are aligned with the F-10 curriculum digital literacy aims and can be accessed here.

🔎 AITSL has an ‘illustrations of practice’ depository which showcases best practices in teaching. Resources on how to plan and teach a lesson on cyber-bullying can be found here.
